reno_gazette_journal.gifRENO GAZETTE-JOURNAL (6/11/2008)-- Gasoline's seemingly endless rise reached another record Tuesday with the statewide average hitting $4.15 per gallon in AAA Nevada's monthly survey.

It marks a 43-cent increase in one month from May's high of $3.72 per gallon of unleaded.

The average for Las Vegas soared by 46 cents over the month to $4.12 per gallon, equaling Reno, which typically has had higher prices and where Tuesday's average rose 32 cents.

In Carson City, the average was $4.09, up 33 cents; and in Sparks, the average rose 29 cents, also to $4.09.
