VELOTTA, IN BUSINESS LAS VEGAS (1/02/09)-- Despite tourism numbers that dropped sharply in 2008, Las Vegas resorts are preparing for what is shaping up to be a healthy start to the spring convention season with four major conventions and trade shows with more than 80,000 in attendance each scheduled in the first two months of this year.
